PRIL 8, 12-2pm: The Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center

(WCCAC) is hosting a free “Keeping Kids Safe” public safety day. This event is being offered in honor of National Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness month and the WCCAC’s 20th anniversary of service to our community.

Several first responder agencies will showcase their public safety equipment and static displays for the community to view.  Cedar Park and Round Rock Police, Williamson County Sheriff’s Department, Georgetown Fire, and Williamson County EMS personnel will have attractions such as a SWAT vehicle, BEAR armored vehicle, K9 agility unit, fire truck, ambulance, motorcycle patrol, and police cars for kids to view and experience.    Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA) will provide kid fingerprinting and ID services. Games, face painting, Miniwonders horses, a ROCK (Ride On Center for Kids) horse to hand paint, and more attractions will be available for all to enjoy.  Bring your family to participate in this fun, educational event.
