Liberty Hill: Mugs for Seniors

Eli and William show off their masterpieces

For the second year in a row, students at Liberty Hill Elementary took time out of their gym activities to create holiday gifts for distribution at the Bagdad Senior Center and Meals on Wheels of Williamson & Burnet Counties. Students created holiday and seasonal scenes and added them to the mugs, which will be delivered to the seniors this month. Mugs and art supplies were sponsored by the Liberty Hill PTO and the kids enjoyed a mid-day showing of “The Grinch” when they finished their artwork. Next week, all grade levels will bring toys and teddy bears to the Teddy Bear Parade at the historic courthouse in Georgetown for Brown Santa.
