Letters to the Editor: Hallford for County Court at Law #1

I am proud to support Brandy Hallford for Judge.  She is well-schooled in the types of cases assigned to Court at Law 1, well-practiced in that courtroom, well-respected by her colleagues, and deeply rooted in community activities.

If members of our family had to go to court to resolve issues, we would want Brandy to be on the bench because she will combine experience and compassion in reaching her judgments.

Steve Fought, District 4 Representative to the Georgetown City Council

I have been fortunate to be a member of your law enforcement community in Williamson County for going on 35 years. I, along with so many others, have the privilege of protecting you, yours and our justice system. I have had the privilege of knowing and working with Brandy Hallford for many years beginning when she was the Criminal Division Chief for the Williamson County Attorney’s Office. Brandy is an award-winning lawyer and spent her early years as a prosecutor here in Williamson County helping victims of crime and holding those who commit crime accountable according to the law, not emotion. Brandy made a decision when her children were young to move into private law practice so she could bring her experience to helping Veterans, and children in Child Protective Services’ cases as their attorney. As the former Police Chief in Round Rock and current Chief Deputy for the Williamson County Sheriffs Office, I am supporting Brandy for County Court at Law #1 Judge. Brandy is, hands down, the most experienced and dedicated to the truth and justice for victims of crime and children.

Tim Ryle, Williamson County
